Discharging power pack Haug EN 8 LC – rod length approx. 55cm for removing electrostatic charges
from 2016
The discharge power packs of the EN 8 series are used to supply voltage to ionizing units
The devices have four gas-tight high-voltage connections and are manufactured according to protection class IP 54
protection class I
according to VDE
LC version with integrated function monitoring
The error status is signaled via an LED on the housing
Operating principle
The applied mains voltage is transformed to 7-8 kV AC voltage by a high-voltage transformer
The function monitor integrated in the secondary section signals that the corona inception voltage has been undershot (= start of effect of ionizing units) by flashing the control LED
The compact PCB technology guarantees reliability and service convenience
Discharge power supply EN 8
– simple and quick checking of the ionizing unit
– reliable information about the manufacturing process (process and quality control)
– continuous monitoring of the ionizing unit without additional testing and measuring equipment
