The AS3173 design features electric screed plate heating and a vibration system. The screed forms the pavement surface and provides initial compaction of the mix prior to final compaction by a roller.
MIX FEED SYSTEM
The AP300D model features a front hopper with a rated capacity of approximately 3.8 m³. The mix delivered by the truck is transported via conveyors to the rear of the machine and then distributed by augers located in front of the screed.
Independent control of the conveyors and augers allows the material feed to be adjusted according to the paving width and operating speed. The ability to reverse their direction facilitates control of the mix when finishing a paving run.
